Overview:
This guide will walk you through the process of authorizing your Pinterest account when requested by a brand in your Brief or in the Creator Portal. Follow the steps below to easily connect your Pinterest account.
Option One: Authorizing Your Pinterest within the Briefs
Step 1: Open Your Brief and Click the "Authorize My Pinterest" Button
Navigate to the brief where the authorization request has been made.
Look for the "Authorize My Pinterest" button within the brief and click it.
Step 2: Connect Your Pinterest Account
After clicking the authorization button, you will be redirected to Pinterest's login page.
If prompted, log in to your Pinterest account using your credentials.
Once logged in, click "Connect Account" to proceed.
Step 3: Grant Access to Your Pinterest Account
A prompt will appear asking for your permission to allow access.
Click "Give Access" to grant permission.
Final Step: Confirmation of Successful Connection
Once access is granted, you should see a confirmation message indicating that your Pinterest account has been successfully connected.
To verify, return to your brief, and you should now see a banner confirming that the connection was successful.
Option Two: Authorizing Pinterest within your Creator Portal
Step 1: Log into your Creator Portal
Click on top right and click into "Manage Social accounts"
Click on "Add Account" under Pinterest and enter your Pinterest handle.
Step 2: Connect Your Pinterest Account
After entering the handle, you will be redirected to Pinterest's login page.
If prompted, log in to your Pinterest account using your credentials.
Once logged in, click "Connect Account" to proceed.
Step 3: Grant Access to Your Pinterest Account
A prompt will appear asking for your permission to allow access.
Click "Give Access" to grant permission.
Final Step: Confirmation of Successful Connection
