How to Set Up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Two-Factor Authentication adds an extra layer of protection to your Aspire account.

How To Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

  1. Click the ellipsis () next to your avatar

  2. Select User Settings

  3. Go to Security

  4. Under Two-Factor Authentication, create a password

  5. Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication

  6. Enter your password again to continue

  7. Scan the QR code using an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.)

  8. Enter the 6-digit code to verify

  9. Save your backup codes

Backup codes are required if you lose access to your authenticator device.

How To Disable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

  1. Click the ellipsis () next to your avatar

  2. Select User Settings

  3. Go to Security

  4. Under Two-Factor Authentication, click Disable 2FA

  5. Disable anytime by clicking Disable 2FA

How To Regenerate Backup Codes

  1. Click the ellipsis () next to your avatar

  2. Select User Settings

  3. Go to Security

  4. Under Two-Factor Authentication, click View Backup Codes

  5. Click Generate New Codes

Note: Generating new codes invalidates old ones.
