Passkeys allow passwordless login using Face ID, Touch ID, or your device credentials.

Passkeys let you log in without a password by using Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello, or your device’s screen lock. They’re faster, more secure, and tied to your device—so there’s nothing to remember or type.

What Is a Passkey?

A passkey is a secure, passwordless sign-in method stored on your device. Instead of entering a password, you confirm your identity using:

  • Face ID

  • Touch ID

  • Windows Hello

  • Your device PIN or screen lock

Passkeys are protected by your device’s built-in security and are resistant to phishing.

How to Add a Passkey

Before you begin, make sure you're logged in.

  1. Go to User Settings > Security

  2. Under Passkeys, click Add Passkey

  3. Name your passkey. Choose a name that helps you recognize the device. For example, MacBook Login or iPhone Face ID.

  4. Follow the browser or device prompt to complete setup using Face ID, Touch ID, or your device credentials.

  5. Once confirmed, your passkey is saved and ready to use.

How to Sign In with a Passkey

On your next login:

  1. Choose Sign in with Passkey.

  2. Approve the request using your device authentication.

That’s it — no password required.

Managing Your Passkeys

You can manage your passkeys anytime:

  1. Go to User Settings > Security

  2. View your saved passkeys

  3. Rename passkeys as needed

If you lose access to a device, we recommend removing its passkey from your account.

Best Practices

  • Add a passkey for each device you use regularly.

  • Keep at least one backup login method (SSO or OTP).

  • Remove passkeys from devices you no longer use.
