Overview
Channel Insights Sharing is a setting inside YouTube Studio that lets eligible YouTube Partner Program (YPP) creators share aggregated channel data with brands that are using Google-approved discovery tools.
When turned on, YouTube surfaces your channel to brands and agencies who are looking for creators whose audience is a match for their campaign — which can lead to more brand deals, higher-CPM ad opportunities, and shopping affiliate offers.
For creators working with brands through Aspire, enabling Channel Insights Sharing helps brands pre-qualify your channel before reaching out, which shortens the time between outreach and signed campaigns.
Note: The setting is off by default. Turning it on is a one-time action and you can turn it off at any time. Your existing audience and earnings on YouTube aren't affected — you're simply making it easier for brands to find you.
What you unlock by turning it on
More earning opportunities: Advertisers, brands, and platforms can discover your channel for paid campaigns, shopping affiliate offers, and premium ad placements.
Comprehensive insights: Brands see a holistic view of your channel rather than a patchwork of screenshots and spreadsheets — which tends to speed up deal cycles.
One-click setup: No additional signups, contracts, or exports. Flip a switch and you're live across Google-approved tools.
Who is eligible
Channel Insights Sharing is available to YouTube Partner Program creators globally. Official Artist Channels (OACs) are currently excluded. You must be signed in to YouTube Studio on a computer — the setting isn't available from the mobile app today.

I tried to enable Channel Insights Sharing but it's not working?
Make sure you're using YouTube Studio on desktop (not mobile). Also, you must be enrolled in the YouTube Partner Program (YPP) to enable this setting. If you're not in YPP, you won't be able to toggle it on.
Is this the same as brand partner access?
Is this the same as brand partner access?
No. Channel Insights Sharing is about discovery — it helps brands find your channel based on aggregate audience and performance. Brand partner access is granted on a per-video basis and gives a specific brand visibility into video-level metrics so they can evaluate or boost that video as a Partnership Ad. The two settings are independent; turning one on doesn't affect the other.
Does this replace the YouTube Creator Partnerships or Shopping Terms of Service?
Does this replace the YouTube Creator Partnerships or Shopping Terms of Service?
No. The setting only governs sharing of channel statistics, audience breakdown, and shopping performance. Your existing Creator Partnerships and Shopping ToS remain in effect.
