Release: Custom Earned Media Value (EMV)

Set the inputs behind your EMV, so the value Aspire reports matches the formula your team already uses.

EMV puts a dollar value on the organic exposure your creators earn, and it's now the primary value metric in Aspire, replacing Total Media Value. Configurable EMV lets you set the inputs behind that number yourself, so it matches the methodology your company or agency already reports against.

What you get

  • A number you can defend: Set the base values and creator-tier weights behind EMV so it matches the methodology your finance and leadership teams already accept.

  • Two levers, full control: Set the dollar value of each interaction (impressions, likes, comments, shares, saves) per network and post type, then adjust the multiplier for each creator tier.

  • Defaults to start from: EMV ships with default values anchored to current CPM benchmarks, so the number is useful on day one and you tune from there.

  • Changes apply across your history: Save an edit and Aspire recalculates EMV across past posts right away, so every dashboard and export reflects your formula.

Where to start

  1. Open EMV Configuration: Go to Settings → General → EMV Configuration. Available to Workspace Admins only, reach out to your Customer Success Manager for assistance.

  2. Set your base values: On the Base Values tab, pick a network and set the dollar amount for each interaction and post type.

  3. Tune your creator tiers: On the Creator Tiers tab, set the multiplier for each tier. Above 1 rewards a tier, below 1 discounts it.

  4. Save and check: Aspire recalculates EMV across your posts. Confirm the number in a report or export. Use Reset to defaults anytime to revert.
