Creating a Campaign is a 4-step setup. You pick a type, set objectives, add details, and review. Heavier configuration (brief content, offers, products) happens from Settings afterward.
The 4-step setup
Click + Create Campaign on the Campaigns Homepage. A full-page setup opens with a stepper at the top:
1. Campaign Type β Choose a template
2. Objectives β Set your goals
3. Details β Name & dates
4. Review β Confirm & create
π‘ Use Back to revisit any earlier step. Next advances; the final step is Create Campaign.
Step 1: Pick a campaign type
The campaign type loads your default workflow stages.
Influencer Content β Generate content in exchange for compensation. Default stages: Brief β Product Catalog β Promo Code β Content β Payment.
Product Gifting β Spread the word of your latest product. Default stages: Product Catalog β Promo Code β Track Posts.
Affiliates β Increase brand awareness with long-term partnerships. Default stages: Brief β Product Catalog β Promo Code β Content.
Custom Project β Create a unique project for your own workflow. No default stages β you'll configure these in Settings β Workflow.
Each card shows a preview of the stages so you know what you're getting.
Step 2: Set your objectives
Objectives are the outcomes this Campaign is anchored to. You can pick more than one β each objective becomes a trackable goal on your Overview page.
Select from:
Brand Awareness β Reach, impressions, and brand visibility through creator audiences.
Content Creation β High-quality posts, reels, or videos from creators for your brand.
Sales & Conversions β Revenue through affiliate links, promo codes, and creator-driven sales.
Product Seeding β Get products into creators' hands and track organic mentions.
Ambassador Program β A long-term creator partnership with recurring deliverables.
A Recommended badge appears on the objectives that fit the campaign type you picked in Step 1 β for example, Suggested for Influencer Content: Content Creation, Brand Awareness, Ambassador Program. A placeholder objective is pre-selected so you can move ahead; change it or add more before continuing.
Goals and metrics
Each objective you select becomes a row in the Goals section below the cards. For each one, pick the metric you'll measure it by:
Impressions Β· Engagement Β· Reach Β· Sales Revenue Β· Conversions Β· Content Pieces Β· Products Seeded Β· Active Creators Β· TMV Β· CPM Β· CPE
Set a target value and the period (Total campaign, Per month, or Per quarter). Add more metrics for the same objective with + Add metric, or remove a row with the Γ icon. You can configure up to 5 metrics in total across all your objectives, and change every goal later from Settings β Setup.
Step 3: Add details
A short identity step.
Campaign Image β Pick an icon for quick setup, or upload a PNG / JPG (2 MB max). Shows on the campaign card and the creator application page.
Internal name (required, up to 100 characters) β Only your team sees this. Use whatever naming convention helps you organize projects.
Creator-facing name (optional, up to 100 characters) β The public name shown to creators on the application page and in emails. Leave blank and it defaults to your internal name.
Description (optional) β A short note about the campaign goal or context, visible to your team only.
Active Dates
Start date β Defaults to today; cannot be in the past.
End date (optional) β Leave blank for an open-ended Campaign.
Evergreen campaign (toggle) β Turn on to run without an end date. The Campaign stays active until manually stopped.
Hashtag tracking
Optional. Type a hashtag and press Enter to track it. Tracked hashtags are used for social listening and auto-assignment to this Campaign.
Step 4: Review and create
The final step summarizes everything you picked and previews your default workflow before the Campaign is created.
Summary
A summary card at the top shows your campaign image, internal name, type, and dates. Below it, sections for Campaign Type, Goals, Name, and Dates each have an Edit pencil that takes you back to that step.
Default Workflow Stages
A preview of the stages your selected template will set up. You can rearrange or customize these from Settings β Workflow after creation.
FAQ
What's the difference between the internal name and the creator-facing name? The internal name is only visible to your team β use whatever naming convention helps you organize work (e.g., Caryn's Q1 Seeding). The creator-facing name is the public name creators see on the application page and in emails. Leave it blank and creators will see the internal name; otherwise type the public name you want them to see.
Can I pick more than one objective? Yes. Each objective you select becomes its own trackable goal in Step 2, and you can attach one or more metrics to each. Add or remove objectives later from Settings β Setup.
Can I edit my Campaign details after creating it? Yes. Image, internal name, creator-facing name, description, objectives, goals, dates, and evergreen toggle are all editable from Settings β Setup. Workflow stages, briefs, offers, products, and automations have their own homes (Settings tabs and the Automations section).
My Campaign has no end date. Will it ever close? No. With the Evergreen campaign toggle on (or simply no end date set), the Campaign stays active until you archive it manually. This is the expected pattern for Affiliates and other long-running programs.
What does hashtag tracking do? The hashtags you add here are picked up by social listening β posts using them are automatically associated with this Campaign, so organic content surfaces in your reporting without manual linking.
Can I duplicate an existing Campaign? Yes. From the Campaigns Homepage, use the Duplicate action on any Campaign. Duplication copies your configuration (type, objectives, goals, stages, briefs, offers, automations, application page) into a new Campaign with the name pre-filled as (Copy) and the dates reset. Member data and activity do not copy. See The Campaigns Homepage for more.
