What Creators See When They Receive a Brief

Learn what creators see when you send a collaboration brief, including how they review, edit, and accept the agreement.

Written by Ana Lopez

When you send a brief to a creator, they'll receive an email with a link to view the brief within their Aspire Creator Portal. You can customize the default email template and personalize the message before sending it to provide additional context and explain why you're excited to work with them.

When a creator clicks the brief link, they'll be prompted to verify their email address or sign in (if they already have an account). Once authenticated, they'll be taken to the Aspire Creator Portal, where they can review and accept the brief.

If you're working with a creator who is represented by a talent agent, the agent can click Request Access after opening the brief link to request permission to view the brief on the creator's behalf. See this help article for more details.

Reviewing the Brief

Before accepting, creators can review all of the collaboration details included in the brief, such as:

  1. Requested deliverables

  2. Content guidelines

  3. Whether content approval is required

  4. Content due dates

  5. Compensation details

  6. Content usage rights

  7. Ad access permissions

  8. Additional Terms & Conditions

Accepting the Brief

After reviewing the brief, creators can accept it by entering their full name, providing a digital signature, and clicking Accept.

If you're using Flexible Briefs, a digital signature isn't required. Instead, creators must select the "I agree to the terms of this brief" consent checkbox before they can accept the brief.

Editing the Brief

If a creator would like to request changes before accepting, they can click Edit Brief to propose updates. The revised brief is then sent back to your team for review and approval.

Note: If you selected Disallow creators from editing briefs when sending the brief, creators won't see the Edit Brief option.
