You may have encountered the two types of email templates used when you start your project and collaborate with creators.
1. System-generated email templates such as Invite Email, Automation Email, and Collaboration Briefs Email: These templates are automatically created by our system whenever these specific features are triggered in the platform.
Invite Emails are used when you invite members from Creator Search or your Members list
Automation Email will be sent when you set up automation for your project
Briefs email are used if you trigger a Send Brief action within your project.
2. Custom templates: These templates are created by users and can be used anywhere you click Compose.
The reason why we hide system-generated templates when clicking Compose is that at the time an email is sent, the personalization variables that a user is referring to are not determined, which will break the variable substitution (i.e. application page URL, brief's link, etc). We do so to ensure that your templates will always have the valid personalization variable, and creators will be able to take action on the collaboration.
