What is a Shared Inbox?
In Aspire, you must connect an email account in order to message creators. While email offers flexibility and versatility for communication, it also presents a challenge: only the team members included in an email thread can directly respond to that thread.
To address this, we’ve introduced the Shared Inbox feature. This combines the flexibility of email with the simplicity of chat, enabling all account users to collaborate seamlessly with creators without missing any messages. 🎉
We offer two options for connecting a shared inbox:
Connect an Existing Shared Email (Recommended)
This option allows you to use an email address that is already shared among your team, while also retaining access to past emails with creators. For example, you can use an email like [email protected] or [email protected].
Note: We are unable to support aliases, Google group emails, or Outlook delegated inboxes at this time.
Request a Shared Email Through Aspire
With this option, Aspire will create a new email address for you ending in @brands.aspireiq.com. However, since it's a brand new email, you won’t have access to any previous communications with creators.

What is the difference between a Shared Inbox and an Email Alias?
A shared inbox is an email account on Aspire that can be accessed by multiple users, allowing your team to collaborate and manage emails together.
In contrast, an email alias is a forwarding address that a workspace admin assigns to a user’s primary email. Emails sent to the alias are automatically forwarded to the user’s primary inbox.

Can I connect my personal work email as a shared inbox?
Technically, yes, you can. However, we do not recommend this, as it would allow any user within your account to send messages from your email address and reply using your name.
