We built a new Instagram Direct Messaging (IGDM) integration alongside our partners at Meta to help you find creators more easily on the Instagram Creator Marketplace and directly invite them to your Aspire projects. Keep reading to learn how it works.
Creator Search
Within Creator Search, there’s a “Contact” filter that allows you to filter by which creators are available to contact via email or direct message.
Creators that can receive direct messages will get all invites via Instagram DM, which will be sent to a special “Partnership messages” folder on their Instagram account. All other creators will receive their invites via email.
💡 Pro Tip: We recommend applying one contact filter at a time (i.e. uncheck “can contact via email” and only check “can contact via direct message) to keep track of who you’re sending invites to via Instagram DM vs email.
Members Tab
Within your Members tab, you can add a filter for “Instagram Creator Marketplace” is “Yes” to find creators who are eligible to receive Direct Messages.
When sending project invitations from your Members tab, creators that can receive direct messages will receive their invites via Instagram DM, while all others will receive their invites via email.
Within your Instagram Direct Message Inbox on Aspire, you’ll be able to see the project invitations you’ve sent via DM, as well as the responses you’ve received. You can easily reply to creators from this view.
