ShareASale is a marketing technology platform providing an affiliate program and marketplace for businesses. Aspire has partnered with ShareASale to serve our customers with high-quality service for their affiliate influencer marketing.

This integration enables you to use Aspire for influencer marketing while leveraging ShareASale’s affiliate program capabilities for managing links and tracking. With the Aspire x ShareASale integration, data passes between both systems so you have complete visibility into your influencer and affiliate marketing programs and conversions.

How It Works

  1. Invite Aspire’s Affiliate account into your ShareASale program and request for a destination URL to be generated by our team to use within Aspire’s sales tracking.

  2. Generate unique links for your members.

  3. Once an end-user clicks on a link shared by a member, ShareASale will track clicks and conversions.

  4. ShareASale sends all clicks and conversions through a “transaction_id” to Aspire.

  5. Aspire links all data to the creators and projects they are associated with.

  6. ShareASale pays affiliates for the previous month's transactions on the 20th. The Aspire publisher account will receive payment for transactions “locked” by the advertiser and attributed to Aspire.

  7. Once Aspire receives the funds, we will credit the amount to your Aspire balance within 2-5 business days.

  8. You can then go to Aspire’s Sales Tracking dashboard, click the Payments Overview button, and send payments.

Step-by-Step Implementation

  1. Invite Aspire’s Affiliate account (3353969) into your ShareASale program.

  2. Aspire will accept the Invitation and Terms shared with us.

  3. Email your Aspire CSM or reach out to our Support Team to request for a destination link to be generated in ShareASale.
💡 Our team can create a custom link for Aspire members only, or you can let us know which existing link you'd like to use.

  4. The Aspire team will send the ShareASale destination link to you.

  5. Configure your link tracking offer in Aspire’s Sales Tracking dashboard.

    1. Go to Reporting > Sales Tracking.

    2. Click “Add Offer”, then select “Link Tracking Offer” from the drop-down menu.

    3. Enter an Offer Name, Offer Description, Conversion Type, and Payout Option.

    4. Set the Conversion Tracking protocol to Server Postback w/ Transaction ID.

    5. In the Offer URL tracking, enter the ShareASale destination link we sent you.

Once you complete the steps above, we highly recommend adding a test member to your project, generating a link, and placing a test purchase. The click and conversion should track in both ShareASale and Aspire.

Frequently Asked Questions

What data will be available in Aspire and ShareASale?

Both systems track clicks, conversions, and payout. Within your Aspire Sales Tracking dashboard, you’ll be able to see this information for individual members. Within your ShareASale account, all data will be aggregated under Aspire’s sub-affiliate account.

What happens if we reverse an action in ShareASale?

If you are managing conversions within ShareASale and 'reverse' an action, that reversal will not be passed to us and the sale will remain in your Aspire Sales Tracking dashboard.

How does payment processing work?

ShareASale pays affiliates for the previous month's transactions on the 20th. Our Aspire publisher account will receive payment for transactions “locked” by the advertiser and attributed to Aspire. Once Aspire receives the funds, we will credit the amount to your Aspire balance within 2-5 business days. You can then go to Aspire’s Sales Tracking dashboard, click the Payments Overview button, and send payments.

Can we payout members sooner or do we have to wait until the funds are deposited into our account?

As long as you have a sufficient account balance or a credit card linked, you can payout members anytime from your Sales Tracking dashboard by clicking on “Payments Overview”, then “Make a Payment”.
