If you have not yet applied for Instagram's Creator Marketplace, you will be prompted to review and accept Instagram’s Creator Marketplace Terms of Service. Click Accept to continue.
Upon accepting the Terms of Service, we will apply on your behalf to the Instagram Creator Marketplace and grant you a temporary access token. If your account does not qualify for the Instagram Creator Marketplace based on Meta's eligibility criteria, your temporary access token will be revoked and you will not be able to send project invitations through DMs. You may still use our Direct Messaging integration to respond to member's DMs and for Instagram story listening.
You will then be redirected back to Aspire and should see your brand’s Instagram account(s) listed under “Connected Instagram Accounts”. By default, we will enable @ mention listening for all accounts connected.
To enable Instagram Direct Messaging, hover over "Inactive" under the Direct Messaging column and click "Activate" next to the Instagram account you wish to use. Currently, only one account can be used for Direct Messaging. If you see a yellow flag after clicking Activate, you can hover over the status for an explanation.
Under Connected Ad Accounts, click Select Ad Accounts and choose the ad account(s) that will be the source of data for ad insights.
🔴 Important: Please ensure you're selecting the Ad Account(s) that your paid ads team is using to run ads through Meta. If the correct Ad Account is not listed, please verify that you have "partial access" to your brand's Meta Business Suite. If you do not, you can request for your Meta admin to change your level of access, then you may reconnect your accounts to Aspire by following these steps.
Otherwise, please follow these steps to remove the Aspire integration from your Facebook settings, then ask a team member with the appropriate level of access to reconnect your Instagram/Meta accounts to Aspire.Under Connected Business, click Select Business and choose the Meta Business account associated with your Instagram accounts to use for allowlisting. Currently, only one business can be utilized at a time.
Once you see green check marks in every column as shown in the example below, you're all done! Great job! 🎉
💡 Enrollment in Instagram’s Creator Marketplace: Please note, your Instagram account must be enrolled in the Instagram Creator Marketplace to use Direct Messaging. If you are not enrolled at the time of adding your account, Aspire will apply on your behalf and you will receive temporary permissions to use the service until your enrollment request is confirmed. If your request is declined by Meta (see eligibility criteria in FAQs), your permissions will expire and you will not be able to send project invitations through IGDM. You may still use our Direct Messaging integration to respond to member's DMs and for Instagram story listening.
