If you’re sending collaboration terms and requesting TikTok as a deliverable, you will see a checkbox for Branded Content that is selected by default. As a best practice, we recommend keeping this checked when requesting TikTok deliverables from creators. This way, you will be more easily able to use the content for Spark Ads.

As an added bonus, when creators post Branded Content on TikTok, we will automatically upload the post to Aspire, assign it to the appropriate project for reporting, and mark that content deliverable as complete, as long as the post did not require content approval.

For more information on what happens in both scenarios, please see below.

If content approval is required:

  • Creators will submit their content for review prior to the date you selected within the collaboration terms.

  • Once the content has been approved, the creator will post the approved content to TikTok using the campaign code or invite link provided in their collaboration terms.

  • After the content has been set live, the creator will need to copy their TikTok post link and upload it to Aspire through their collaboration terms.

  • Once the creator uploads the post link, the content deliverable will be marked as complete and the post will appear in Social Analytics, Content, and Impact Dashboard.

If content approval is NOT required:

  • The creator will post their content to TikTok using the campaign code provided in their collaboration terms.

  • Once the content has been posted, Aspire will capture the post and auto-assign it to that project, as well as mark the content deliverable as complete. Both you and the creator will be notified that the content has been auto-uploaded and no further action is needed.

  • The post will automatically appear in Social Analytics, Content, and Impact Dashboard.
