This article outlines how to mark your messages as read/unread within your Aspire Inbox and how to apply the Gmail/Outlook syncing options under your email settings.

How you can mark messages as read/unread and what that view will look like:

  1. Within your Aspire inbox, you can mark an email as read/unread next to the email or on the top right-hand-side.

2. An unread email will be bolded within your inbox while emails that have been marked as Read will be greyed out:

Optional: Marking multiple emails as Read

If you'd like to mark multiple emails as Read, you can do so with a couple of clicks. First, select the emails you want to mark as read. Then, click the "Mark all as Read" and all selected emails in the current view will now be marked as Read.

📣Pro tip: If you would like to mark all emails as read: First select the ‘Select All’ option in the top check box. Once all emails are selected, click "Mark all as Read". All emails in the current view will now be marked as Read.

Additional details you will see within your Aspire Inbox:

  • The inbox folder (Assigned to you )

  • The Inbox folders (Non-Assigned to Me folders) will show a count of Unread Messages

  • Assigned to Me Folders will show the count of messages marked as “To-Do”

Gmail/Outlook Syncing with your Aspire Inbox

Users can sync their Aspire inbox with their Gmail/Outlook inbox.

  • If this is turned on, any messages/threads marked as read/unread will be marked read/unread in their native Gmail/Outlook inbox

  • If this is turned off, messages marked as read/unread will only be shown within the Aspire Inbox and the native Gmail/Outlook inbox will not be changed
