What is TikTok Spark Ads?
TikTok Spark Ads is a newly introduced feature by TikTok - it allows you to leverage organic TikTok posts and their features in your advertising by creating ads from these posts. Spark Ads use real TikTok posts as ad content, ensuring that all engagement metrics (views, comments, shares, likes, and follows) generated from the boosted video are attributed to the original organic post.
Spark Ads allows you to publish ads:
Using your own TikTok account’s posts.
Using organic posts made by other creators (with their authorization)

With this, the TikTok Spark Ads Integration in Aspire aims to facilitate the process by enabling you to select a TikTok account and request ad access from creators, streamlining the use of your creators' content in your advertising campaigns!

How it Works
Step 1: Authorize Your TikTok Ad Account
Go to to Integrations > TikTok
Select TikTok Account Settings and add your TikTok Ad Account
Once the account is linked, Aspire will validate the connection. If the TikTok account disconnects at any point, you will receive an error message in your TikTok Account settings.
Step 2: Create & Send Briefs
Create a Brief and select TikTok Video as a deliverable
Note: You can request Spark Ads authorization in either bulk for multiple creators or within a single brief for individual creators:
Under the “Ads Permissions” section of the brief, you will have an option to request Spark Ads authorization
This option is available only for standard briefs and not for flexible briefs. To learn more about the difference between Standard Briefs and Flexible Briefs, please see this article!
Note: Unless you prevent creators from editing the Brief, the creator will have the ability to edit the Ad Permissions and Authorization Period:
3. Set Authorization Period
Select the duration for which you want the Spark Ads authorization (7, 30, 60, 365 days) from the dropdown menu.
Step 3: The Creator Reviews & Accepts the Brief
Review Request
Creators will receive the brief and will see the Spark Ads request along with other details about the brief.
Accept Brief
Once the creator agrees to the brief, their content becomes eligible for use in Spark Ads.
Integration with TikTok Ads Manager
The content will be automatically shown in your TikTok Ads Manager once the creator's content goes live on TikTok and is posted in the Creator Portal. The creator can follow the steps in this article for posting and uploading their content within their brief.
You can manage your Spark Ads directly from the TikTok Ads Manager, utilizing the post to enhance your ad campaigns. The integration ensures that the content appears in the ads as soon as it is live!

A label indicating Spark Ads permission will be displayed on videos that already have it.
