Overview
Spark Ads Recommendations is a new feature introduced by TikTok that leverages an advanced recommendation API to help brands and performance marketers identify and utilize high-performing user-generated content (UGC) for Spark Ads. This tool provides tailored suggestions to enhance the impact of your advertising campaigns on TikTok.
This feature will address a significant challenge in influencer marketing and UGC management. For brands working with creators at scale, identifying high-performing content can be a daunting task.
By integrating this feature, we aim to:
Bridge the gap between UGC and performance marketing.
Provide performance marketers with access to the most effective UGC.
Simplify the process of selecting high-performing content for brands working with multiple creators.
To leverage this feature, Aspire uses a list of video IDs to send into TikTok to get recommendations based on your brand's TikTok branded content videos.
How To Access Spark Ads Recommendations

To view your Spark Ads Recommendations, navigate to the Overview tab within a Project and look for the section titled "TikTok Spark Ads Recommendations".
Each recommended post will display the following information:
Recommendation Suitability: Indicates the suitability level for Spark Ads (High, Medium, Low)
Spark Ads Permission: Shows whether the video has permission for Spark Ads
Engagement Rate: Calculated based on Engagement / Unique Impressions
Post ID: Click the icon to copy the TikTok post ID
💡 When you click on a recommended post, it will open the original post on TikTok, allowing you to view the content in its native environment.
💡 There will be a direct link to the Ads Manager page, enabling you to quickly create and manage your Spark Ads campaign based on the recommendation.

By default, recommendations are for videos from the past 3 months, considering the following values: Reach, Traffic, and Video Views.

Currently, the default recommendation criteria is set to videos from the past 3 months. In the future, we plan to provide you with an option to set the time frame to the past month or past 6 months. In addition, you would be able to set the advertising objective from one of the following options:
Reach
Traffic
Video Views
Lean Generation
Engagement
App Promotion
Web Conversion
