This feature lets you and your team build a public application page for creators and affiliates, automate how applications get screened and responded to, and review everyone who applies.
Where to Find It
Go to Offers in the left sidebar.
Click the Recruit tab, next to Offers and Analytics.
Choose a sub-tab: Landing Page, Automations, or Applicants.
Affiliate Recruit sub-tabs: Landing Page, Automations, and Applicants.
1. Landing Page
This is the page builder for your public application page, the page creators land on when they want to apply to become an affiliate or brand ambassador. The editor is split into a settings panel on the left and a live preview on the right, with a Save button, a View preview link, and the page’s publish status (for example, Published, Link only).
Branding
Brand name: the name shown on the application page.
Logo: upload an image or paste a link; it appears in the page header and as the browser favicon.
Colors: set the Background, Heading, and Text colors using hex codes.
Font: choose the typeface used across the page (for example, Space Grotesk).
Application page URL: set the custom slug used in the page’s public link (lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only).
Page Content
Heading and Description: the main headline and intro copy shown to applicants.
How it works: a customizable, numbered set of steps (for example, Apply, Get Approved, Start Earning), each with its own title and short description. Steps can be added or removed with the Add step control.
Hero image or video: the visual shown alongside the headline; upload a file or paste a link (PNG, JPG, WebP, MP4, or WebM).
Hero text: a short caption overlaid on the hero image or video.
Form
The Form section is a form builder for the application questions creators fill out. It’s organized into two steps:
Step 1, Lead capture: a required Email field, so even partial drop-offs leave a contact for follow-up to complete the application.
Step 2, Application details: additional questions, shown only after Step 1 is submitted (for example, First name, Last name, Discount code, Instagram username, Phone number, Bio, and any custom questions you add).
Each field in the list shows its type icon and label, with an edit (pencil) icon to rename it, mark it Required, or Remove it, and up/down arrows to reorder it. Use Add field to open the field picker, which offers:
Basic inputs: Short answer, Long answer, Dropdown, and Single choice, for collecting any open-ended or multiple-choice info.
Social: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X (Twitter) handle fields.
Identity: Email, Phone number, Address, and Profile picture, fields tied to the applicant’s profile.
Creator-chosen: fields like Preferred promo code, claimed by the applicant at signup if the applicant is approved to join the affiliate program.
Consent: a Consent checkbox for opt-ins and legal acknowledgements.
Below the field list, Terms & conditions URL links to the legal terms applicants agree to when they submit the form.
2. Automations
This sub-tab lists the automated workflows that run against applications, and lets you build new ones with a visual, node-based editor. Each automation has a Name, a Trigger, an Action summary, and a status (Active/Inactive), and can be marked Default. Every workspace starts with two default automations:
Auto-Screen Affiliate Application & Approve/Reject: triggered when an affiliate submits an application. It checks the applicant’s Instagram follower count and, optionally, other criteria such as a custom “Where are you based?” answer, then automatically adds qualified applicants to an offer (with an automated payout) or rejects them and sends a reject email.
IG Mention – Send Application DM to Creators: triggered when a creator mentions the brand on Instagram. It checks the creator’s Instagram follower count and sends them an Instagram DM inviting them to apply, with a different message depending on whether they clear the follower threshold.
Building an Automation
Automations are built as a flowchart of connected steps on a canvas (use the plus and minus controls, or the fit-to-screen icon, in the bottom-left corner). The building blocks are:
When (trigger): the event that starts the automation, such as an affiliate submitting an application or a creator mentioning the brand on Instagram. The trigger is locked and can’t be edited.
Time Delay: waits a set number of hours before moving to the next step.
Check if: a condition (for example, Instagram followers greater than a set number) that splits the flow into True and False branches, each of which continues with its own steps.
Actions: Add to Offer (enrolls the applicant with a payout), Reject Application, Send Email, and Send Instagram DM, each configured with its own content.
Send Instagram DM steps include a Message box with placeholders you can insert, such as the creator’s Instagram handle, the creator’s first name, and your affiliate application link, so each DM is personalized automatically.
💡Note: Because the default IG Mention automation triggers on Instagram mentions and acts through Instagram DM, it only works once your company Instagram account is connected with both Listening and Direct Messaging enabled. See this guide on How to Connect your Meta Account.
3. Applicants
This sub-tab is a review queue for everyone who has submitted the application form, whether they came through the landing page directly or through an automation like the Instagram mention DM.
Filtering and Columns
Search by name or email, and filter by time range, offer, and status.
The table icon in the top-right lets you customize which columns are shown.
Default columns include Name, Email, Applied date, Offer, Reviewed by, and Status.
Status values include Pending, Accepted, and Rejected; Reviewed by shows either a teammate’s name or Automation when an automation decides the outcome.
Reviewing an Application
Click any row to open the full application in a detail panel, which shows:
The applicant’s name, email, current status, and submission date.
Application Details: every answer they submitted, matching the fields you configured in the Landing Page Form (for example, Instagram username, Bio, and any custom questions).
Actions: Accept or Reject buttons to manually approve or decline the applicant.
Accepting an applicant here does not automatically create an active affiliate relationship unless it is also tied to an offer; for applications routed through the default screening automation, acceptance already includes enrollment in the configured offer and payout.
Setting Up Social Recruiting: Instagram Integration Requirements
Social Recruiting helps your team discover and reach out to creators directly through Instagram, using your brand’s own Instagram presence to source candidates and start conversations. Before your team can use this feature, your company Instagram account must be connected to Aspire with both Direct Messaging and Listening enabled. This guide walks you through the full setup process.
Before You Begin
You must have Admin permissions in Aspire to manage Integrations settings.
Your company Instagram account must be a Business or Creator account (personal accounts cannot be connected).
Your Instagram account should already be linked to a Facebook Page that your team manages.
You’ll need login access to the Facebook account that manages this Page.
Step 1: Connect Your Company Instagram Account
Log in to Aspire and click the Settings (gear) icon in the lower left sidebar.
Under Integrations, select Instagram (Meta).
Click Add Meta Account in the top right corner.
Follow the Meta prompts to log in and select the Facebook Page connected to your company’s Instagram account.
Grant Aspire the requested permissions so your account appears under Connected Instagram Accounts.
Step 2: Enable Direct Messaging and Listening
This step is required for Social Recruiting to work, and it’s the step most teams miss.
In Aspire, go to Settings, then Integrations, then Instagram (Meta).
Find your company account listed under Connected Instagram Accounts.
Locate the Direct Messaging and Listening columns for that account.
Toggle both Direct Messaging and Listening to Active.
If either toggle shows a warning icon, click Reconnect and re-authorize the requested permissions.
Step 3: Confirm the Connection
Refresh the Integrations page.
Confirm Direct Messaging and Listening both display an Active status with no warning icon.
If a warning persists, click the ••• menu next to your account, choose Reconnect, and repeat Step 2.
Why This Matters for Social Recruiting
Social Recruiting depends on Listening to surface creators who are engaging with or mentioning your brand on Instagram, and on Direct Messaging so your team can reach out to candidates directly from within Aspire. If either permission is inactive, Social Recruiting will not be able to find or message candidates, even if your Instagram account otherwise shows as connected.
Troubleshooting
Warning icon shown next to Active: Meta needs you to re-confirm permissions. Click Reconnect and complete the prompts again.
Instagram account not appearing as an option: Confirm the account is a Business or Creator account linked to a Facebook Page you administer.
Toggle won’t switch on: Log out of both Aspire and Facebook, log back in, and retry Step 1.
