We are very excited to share with you that Aspire is now one of TikTok's official partners! With this partnership comes exclusive access to TikTok's API. As a result, we are updating our creator account authentication process and the collaboration flow on Aspire to ensure that your profile and post data will be shared with brands more reliably and accurately.
What is the TikTok Creator Marketplace?
The TikTok Creator Marketplace is a feature built by TikTok to connect brands and creators on TikTok. This feature is currently available for creators who have at least 10,000 followers on TikTok.
What are the benefits of joining TikTok Creator Marketplace?
Signing up for the TikTok Creator Marketplace simply opens the door to more brand collaborations and is totally free. After you sign up, you will start to see the "Sponsored Video" tab when uploading a video on TikTok for brand collaborations. Other benefits include receiving access to online collaboration tools and getting tips on creating advertiser-friendly videos for brands.
How do I authorize my TikTok account on Aspire?
To authorize your TikTok account on Aspire, go to Social Accounts and click "Authorize TikTok". You'll be prompted to login to your TikTok account. Then, follow our instructions to request an invite to TikTok's Creator Marketplace. This is a new requirement to ensure that we can validate the authenticity of your account with the official TikTok API.
I have requested to join the TikTok Marketplace, but haven't received an invite yet. What should I do?
Once you request an invite to the TikTok Marketplace, it may take up to 24 hours to receive an invite on your TikTok App under Inbox > Monetization.
If you do not receive an invite after 24 hours, please confirm you have verified your age on TikTok, then try authorizing your TikTok account on Aspire again to request another invite. If you're still not receiving an invite, please contact us at [email protected] and we'd be happy to help!
I have accepted the TikTok Marketplace invite but am still unable to authorize my account. Why?
It may take 2+ hours for TikTok to process your request after your submission. Simply come back to Aspire and reconnect your TikTok account later. If you're still being asked to join the TikTok Marketplace and unable to authorize your TikTok account, please contact us at [email protected].
Will this change affect TikTok collaborations on Aspire?
There should be no significant workflow changes for most of your brand partnerships. However, some brands may start requiring the following additional items for a TikTok collaboration:
Your TikTok account must be authenticated on Aspire by going to Social Accounts > Authorize TikTok
When uploading your video to TikTok, you will need to click the "Sponsored Video" tab and select the campaign
You can use only Original Sound or a sound from the Promo+ playlist for the sponsored post
Since not all the brands will require the additional items steps listed above, please be sure to review and follow the workflow instructions on Aspire carefully.
I've posted my TikTok content but it does not display. What happened?
TikTok is now randomly reviewing content posted on their site to ensure it meets their Community Guidelines. If your content is selected for review, it may take extra time to be posted. Please be sure to account for this in your planning and/or let the brand know it is taking longer than expected.
