Connecting your Gmail inbox to Aspire allows you to send and receive communications from your brand email address directly on the platform. It also allows you to invite people to your projects and reach out to new people that you're interested in collaborating with.

We will only sync your emails with members in Aspire, so no need to worry about your personal correspondence showing up. We can even block specific domains from the sync for further privacy, just let us know!

πŸ’‘ Before you proceed, please review the requirements below to ensure your email is ready to connect to Aspire.

  • Inbox must have its own password

  • Cannot be an email alias

  • Cannot be a Google group email

How to Connect Your Gmail Account

  1. Click your initials in the top right-hand corner and select Integration Settings.

  2. Click "Sign in with Google" and select the Gmail account you'd like to connect.

  3. Select the type of inbox that you would like to connect (Shared or Individual)

  4. Next, choose the email account you want to connect.

  5. After choosing your Gmail account, a permissions screen will appear. Please ensure you check off ALL permissions when prompted, as they are all critical to being able to use our Gmail integration.

  6. Then, you'll be redirected back to Aspire and will see the email account you connected. You can adjust your settings and preferences on this page, then click Save Changes.

    • "Mark as read options" - Decide if you want the emails coming in through Aspire to be automatically marked as read in your native Gmail inbox.

    • Signature - Use this text box to edit the signature that you would like included when sending outbound emails through Aspire.

Woohoo! πŸ˜€ You have successfully connected your Gmail account.
