While we do ask brands to respond within 2-3 business days, there could be a number of reasons why a specific brand hasn’t gotten back to you. They might have a number of internal projects going on, finishing up previous collaborations, on vacation, etc.
However, here are a few tips that we've found to be successful for our creators:
You can send follow up messages behind every proposal. Brands today are looking for authentic fans of their product, so you can use this message to share why you you want to promote this product, as well as creative ideas for your posts.
Be selective. Only pick the brands that you already love or align with their values! Brands are looking for this level of authenticity and can tell if you don't align to their image and story.
Finally, one thing that we've seen does not really help that many creators, is lowering their prices. Data suggests that there is little value in lowering prices much below our recommended price ranges (although if you are submitting way above, that can also impact the response rate).
That being said, please keep in mind that brands are reviewing tens, if not hundreds of applications, so don't be down if a few do not respond. It is definitely not anything personal, and often times the brand may have really wanted to work with you, but just ran out of budget or time.
