When social posts are auto-assigned by our system, they may not always be matched to the correct project or group. Unassigning any irrelevant posts helps keep your reporting accurate and focused on the content that matters.
Follow this guide to unassign social posts from Projects and Groups—either individually or in bulk.
Using the Assign Posts Tab
Go to Reporting > Social Analytics.
Click on the Assign Posts tab.
Select "All" on the right-hand side to view all posts.
There are two ways to unassign posts from this view:
Hover over the post to reveal the Unassign button. Click Unassign below the Project or Group shown to remove the assignment.
Select one or multiple posts, then click Assign to Project and/or Assign to Group and select "No Assignment" at the bottom of the dropdown.
📣 Tip: Filter by project(s) or group(s) first to easily view and manage assigned posts.
Using the Posts Tab
Go to Reporting > Social Analytics.
Click on Posts under Reports.
Hover over the post you want to unassign, then click the Unassign button below the Project or Group shown.
📣 Tip: Use filters or search by social handle to quickly find the post you're looking for.
From a Member’s Profile
Go to the member's profile.
Click Member Actions > Social Post.
Under All Posts, hover over the post and click Unassign below the Project or Group shown.
