Aspire's new offer creation experience walks you through building an offer in four guided steps: Offer Setup, Configure, Automation and Review.
Whether you're creating a discount offer with unique promo codes or a link-only affiliate offer, everything starts from the same place and nothing goes live until you confirm on the final Review step.
To get started, go to your Offers page and click Create Offer.
Step 1: Offer Setup
Choose your offer type
The first step is choosing your offer type. This determines how creators share your offer and how sales are attributed, so pick the one that fits your program.
Discount Offer: Give creators a promo code their audience can redeem. Each creator gets their own unique discount code and tracking link and you'll see clicks, conversions and revenue attributed to each creator automatically.
Non-Discount Offer: Give creators a trackable link with no discount for their audience. Best for affiliate and commission-based programs where you don't want to offer a price reduction.
Secure code and landing page (Discount Offers)
If you're creating a Discount Offer on a connected Shopify store, you can also enable:
Secure code: protects creator promo codes from being scraped and shared on coupon sites.
Landing page: sends each creator's audience to a personalized landing page instead of a generic store URL.
These options require the Aspire Affiliate App to be installed on your Shopify store. If it isn't installed yet, you'll see a banner with installation instructions before you can continue.
Basic Info
Once you've selected a type, fill in the basics:
Offer Name (required): Visible to your team and creators.
Description (optional): Context about the offer - visible to team only.
Image (optional): PNG or JPG.
Click Next to continue.
Step 2: Configure
This step is where you define how your offer works for customers.
Discount Configuration (Discount Offers)
Shopify Discount Type: choose Amount Off to have Aspire create the discount or Link Existing Discount to connect a discount you've already built in your Shopify admin.
Discount Value: set a percentage or a fixed dollar amount off.
Purchase Restrictions
Control exactly when and how the discount can be used:
Purchase type: one-time purchases, subscriptions or both.
Recurring cycle limit: for subscriptions, limit how many billing cycles the discount applies to.
Usage limits: restrict codes to one use per customer, limit them to new customers only or set a total usage cap.
Minimum purchase requirements: require a minimum order amount or item quantity.
Collections: limit the discount to specific product collections from your store.
Discount combinations: choose whether the code can combine with other product, order or shipping discounts.
OR
Code Naming Strategy
Choose how each creator's unique promo code is generated. Pick a prefix style, add an optional code prefix or suffix and check the live preview to see exactly what creator codes will look like.
Tracking Link (Link-Only Offers)
For Link-Only Offers, configure how clicks and conversions are tracked:
Tracking Method: JavaScript Postback, Server Postback with Transaction ID, Server Postback with Partner ID, HTTPS Image Pixel or HTTPS iFrame Pixel.
Conversion Type: Conversions, Downloads, Email Submits or Lead Generations.
Offer URL Tracking: the base URL creators will drive traffic to.
Additional Domains (optional): track conversions across more than one domain.
Advanced Settings
Expand Advanced Settings for additional options available on all offer types:
UTM Parameters: set campaign, source, medium, content and term values for analytics.
Multiple Conversions: track more than one conversion event per offer.
Custom Domain: use your own domain for tracking links.
Sync offer to other Shopify stores: if you have multiple stores connected, sync this offer across them.
Custom Redirect: send traffic to a different URL after the click is tracked.
Offer Validity: set a start date and an optional end date for the offer.
Visibility: choose whether the offer appears in the Partner Portal.
Click Next to continue.
Step 3: Automation (Commission, Rewards & Automations)
This step brings together everything that used to require separate setup: commission rates, performance rewards and creator emails. Each section is collapsible and optional, and everything here can be edited after the offer is live.
Commission
Turn on Track Commission in Aspire to manage creator earnings inside Aspire. Once enabled you can:
Add Commission Option: create up to 10 commission options. Each shows its label, rate or amount and payout type on a card, with one marked as the Default.
Automate Tiers: set up automated tier progression so creators unlock higher commission rates as they hit performance milestones.
Settings: control commission-level options such as whether commission is shown on the Creator Portal.
Rewards Automation
Motivate creators with performance-based rewards that trigger automatically when a creator hits a milestone, for example 5 conversions. Click Create Reward and choose a reward type:
Discount Code: boost the creator's discount when they hit the goal.
Free Product: gift a product from your store.
Cash Reward: pay a one-time bonus.
Each reward card shows its trigger and an Active or Inactive badge, and you can edit or delete rewards at any time.
Email Automation
Turn on automated emails so creators always know where they stand. Each email type has its own toggle and an edit button to customize the template. The section header shows how many automations are active.
Click Next to continue to the final step.
Step 4: Review
The Review step shows a complete summary of your offer: the offer name, type, discount or default commission, description and an example creator code if applicable.
Below the summary you'll find detail sections for Basic Information, Discount & Code Settings or Tracking Link, Automation, Product Restrictions and Schedule. Each section has an Edit button that jumps you straight back to the relevant step, so you can fix anything without starting over.
Nothing is live yet. When everything looks right, click Create Offer. You'll be taken to your new offer's page where you can start adding members.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Where did payouts go? I used to set them next to the discount.
Commission setup now lives in Step 3 (Automation) alongside tiers, rewards and email automations. Turn on Track Commission in Aspire and click Add Commission Option to set rates.
Do I have to set up Commission, Rewards or Email Automations right away?
No. Every section in the Automation step is optional and you can add or change automations any time by editing the offer.
Is my progress saved if I leave the wizard?
Your offer is only created when you click Create Offer on the Review step. If you leave before that, you'll be asked to confirm before discarding your changes.
Why can't I enable secure codes or a landing page?
These options require the Aspire Affiliate App to be installed on your Shopify store. Follow the installation banner in Step 1 to set it up.
