The Applicants tab is where you review every creator who wants in (or whom you've invited) before they become a Member of your Campaign. Approve, reject, or hold for later β individually or in bulk.
Where applicants come from
Applicants land in this tab from any of these sources, shown in the Applicant Source column:
Application page β Creators who applied through your Campaign's public application page.
Invite β Creators you sent an invite to (by email or Instagram DM) who haven't accepted yet.
Creator Discovery β Creators you added from Aspire's search.
Member Hub β Creators you pulled from your existing CRM.
CSV import β Creators you bulk-uploaded by file.
No matter the source, every applicant goes through the same review flow before becoming a Member.
The Applicants tab
Open a Campaign and click Applicants in the tab bar at the top. The tab shows a single table with status sub-tabs above it.
Status sub-tabs
Four pills at the top of the table, each with a live count:
Applied β Creators waiting for your decision.
Invited β Creators you've invited who haven't responded yet.
Maybe β Applicants you're holding for later review.
Rejected β Applicants you've rejected (still accessible, not deleted).
Click any pill to filter the table to that status.
Columns
The table shows the columns you choose. By default you'll see Name, Email, Applicant Source, Date Applied (or Date Rejected on the Rejected tab), Programs, and Action. Additional columns available via the column picker include Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, State, Country, and Insights Linked.
The Programs column lists any other Campaigns the applicant is already part of β helpful when deciding whether to approve them into yet another one. (The column keeps the historical name Programs β it lists Campaigns.)
Controls
The toolbar above the table has:
Search (icon) β Match by name or email.
Download (icon) β Export the current view to CSV.
Columns (icon) β Pick which columns appear.
All dropdown β Quick filter, e.g., by applicant source.
Actions button β Opens the bulk actions menu when one or more applicants are selected (see Bulk actions).
Click a column header to sort by it. The bottom of the table has pagination with a Rows per page picker (default 25).
Reviewing applicants
Every applicant row has three quick icons in the Action column:
Approve (green checkmark) β Moves the applicant into the Campaign as a Member. They leave the Applicants tab and enter the workflow at the first stage. The Workflow tab is where you continue from there (see Workflow and stages).
Maybe (question mark) β Holds the applicant for later review. Moves them to the Maybe sub-tab. Use this when you're not ready to decide.
Reject (red Γ) β Moves the applicant to the Rejected sub-tab. Their record stays, you just stop seeing them in your daily queue.
The icons shown depend on the current sub-tab. On Rejected, only the Approve icon is shown so you can bring someone back. On Maybe, Approve and Reject are shown (no Maybe icon β they're already there).
If you accidentally reject someone, switch to the Rejected sub-tab and click Approve to bring them back into the queue.
Bulk actions
Select one or more rows using the checkboxes on the left, and a bulk toolbar replaces the 0 selected indicator. From it you can:
Approve β Approve all selected applicants at once.
Maybe β Move all selected to the Maybe sub-tab.
Reject β Reject all selected.
Open the Actions dropdown for more bulk options:
Compose Email β Send a message to all selected applicants.
Remove from this Project β Take them off the Applicants tab entirely (different from Reject; Reject keeps them on the Rejected tab, Remove deletes the association).
Add People to Group β Add the selected applicants to a Group for organization.
Add to Another Project β Add them to a different Campaign in parallel.
Assign Owner β Assign a teammate as the owner for all selected.
Tags β Add or remove tags in one go.
These bulk options also exist for individual rows via the three-dot menu where relevant.
Inviting creators to your Campaign
To bring creators into a Campaign yourself (rather than waiting for them to apply), use one of these entry points:
Creator Discovery β Search Aspire's creator database and add directly to your Campaign. They appear on the Invited sub-tab until they respond.
Member Hub β Add creators from your existing CRM. Same Invited flow.
CSV import β Bulk-upload by file when you have a list from elsewhere.
Instagram DM β Where enabled, send invites by DM in addition to email.
The invite email itself is configured in Settings β Invite Email. The Recruitment tab in Settings handles the application form and landing page for inbound applicants.
After approval: working with members
Once you approve an applicant, they become a Member and leave the Applicants tab. From that point onward, the Workflow tab is where you manage them β sending briefs, tracking content, paying, assigning owners, adding tags, or removing them from the Campaign. See Workflow and stages for the full set of member actions inside the workflow.
The actions you take on Applicants (Assign Owner, Tags, Add to Group, Compose Email) all work the same way on Members β the difference is where you take them: Applicants tab for not-yet-approved creators, Workflow tab for everyone who's in.
Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between an Applicant and a Member? An Applicant is anyone who applied or whom you invited, before you've approved them. A Member is an approved creator inside your Campaign workflow. Applicants live on the Applicants tab; Members live on the Workflow tab.
What happens when I approve an applicant? They leave the Applicants tab, move to your Workflow at the first stage, and any approval-related automations (for example, Send brief when creator joins) start firing.
What's the difference between Reject and Remove from this Project? Reject keeps the applicant in your records under the Rejected sub-tab β you can revisit and approve them later if you change your mind. Remove from this Project takes them off the Applicants tab entirely; they're no longer tied to this Campaign.
Can a creator be in more than one Campaign at once? Yes. The Programs column shows every other Campaign an applicant is already part of, and the Add to Another Project bulk action adds them to additional Campaigns in parallel.
A creator we rejected wants back in. What do we do? Open the Rejected sub-tab and click the green checkmark on their row. They move to Applied for re-review, or directly into the workflow if your process is to approve straight from Rejected.
