πŸ’‘ This feature is currently in beta. If you encounter any issues or have suggestions for improvement, please contact our Support team by emailing [email protected].

Every Campaign's configuration β€” name, workflow, briefs, offers, products, budget β€” lives behind the Settings button in the top-right of the Campaign header. This article walks through how Settings is organized, what each tab does, how permissions work, and what changes for Projects that were migrated into Campaigns.

How Settings is organized

Open Settings from any Campaign and you'll see a horizontal tab bar with up to nine tabs:

Setup Β· Workflow Β· Custom Stages Β· Application Page Β· Briefs Β· Offers Β· Product Catalogs Β· Budget Β· Invite Email

Some tabs only appear when relevant β€” for example, Custom Stages only shows up if you've configured at least one custom stage; Briefs appears when your workflow has a Brief stage; Product Catalogs appears when there's a Product Fulfillment stage and the relevant feature is enabled.

A Preview panel on the right side of every Settings tab shows a live snapshot of your Campaign so you can see your changes reflected before saving.

Setup

The Setup tab is the canonical home for Campaign identity and goals.

About

  • Campaign Name (required) β€” The internal name shown to your team. Same field you set in Step 3 of creation.

  • Creator-facing Name β€” The public name shown to creators on the application page and in emails. Defaults to the internal name if left blank.

  • Description (optional) β€” A short note about the campaign goal or context β€” only your team sees this.

Goals

Add or update the targets you want this Campaign to hit. Up to five metrics in total, with a counter at the top showing how many you've configured (e.g., 2 / 5).

Each goal row has:

  • A metric dropdown (Impressions, Engagement, Reach, Sales Revenue, Conversions, Content Pieces, Products Seeded, Active Creators, TMV, CPM, CPE).

  • A target value input.

  • A period dropdown (Total campaign, Per month, Per quarter).

  • An info icon for the metric definition and an Γ— to remove the row.

Click + Add metric to add another, up to the limit of five.

Active Dates

Pick a Start date and optional End date. The Evergreen campaign toggle below removes the end date entirely so the Campaign stays active until you stop it manually.

Campaign Image

Pick an icon for quick setup, or upload a PNG / JPG (2 MB max). The image shows up on the campaign card on the Homepage, the Settings preview, and the creator application page.

Additional Settings

A collapsible section at the bottom of the tab for Campaign-level toggles. Expand it to see and edit:

  • Campaign Owner β€” A teammate dropdown. "This owner is automatically assigned to any member added to this campaign."

  • Unpaid Offer (toggle) β€” When on, the application page tells creators this collaboration is unpaid.

  • Group Content Review (toggle) β€” Lets designated reviewers approve creator-submitted content before it goes live. Turning this on adds a Group Content Review tab to the Campaign's main tab bar.

  • Skip YouTube Creator Partnerships (toggle) β€” When on, this Campaign won't report data to YouTube Creator Partnerships.

  • Tracked Hashtags (optional) β€” Posts using any of these hashtags are auto-tracked and attributed to this Campaign. Add hashtags as tags (e.g., #yourbrandlaunch).

  • Archive Campaign button β€” Moves the Campaign to the Archived tab on the Homepage. Reversible.

  • Delete Campaign button (red) β€” Permanently removes the Campaign and all its data. Not reversible.

Click Save changes at the bottom of the tab when done. If you navigate away with unsaved changes, you'll be warned before losing them.

Workflow

The Workflow tab is where you add, remove, and reorder the stages creators move through.

The tab shows a vertical list of every stage in your Campaign. Each row has:

  • A drag handle on the left β€” grab and drop to reorder.

  • The stage name in the middle.

  • A Hidden from Creators badge if the stage isn't shown in the Creator Portal (typically internal-only stages like Contract, Product Fulfillment, Track Posts, Payment, and Concept Review).

  • An Γ— on the right to remove the stage.

A + Add Stage button below the list lets you append a new stage. You can pick from built-in stages or any custom stage you've configured.

All changes β€” add, remove, reorder β€” stage locally until you click Save changes, so you can shape the workflow exactly the way you want before committing. A dirty-state indicator shows when there's unsaved work, and navigating away triggers a confirmation prompt.

For more on what each stage does and how members move through them, see Workflow and stages.

Other tabs

The remaining tabs handle the heavier configuration of your Campaign. Detailed walkthroughs for each will land in subsequent articles; here's a brief tour of what they do:

  • Custom Stages β€” Configure non-built-in stages: stage name, statuses, tasks within the stage, form fields, and final status. Appears once you've added a custom stage to your workflow.

  • Application Page β€” Design the application form and landing page creators see when they apply to your Campaign. Includes form field configuration, custom landing page URL slug, and a visual editor for the page.

  • Briefs β€” Configure the default brief template, the email used when sending briefs, and the content guidelines visible to creators in their portal. See Briefs, offers, and product fulfillment for the full walkthrough.

  • Offers β€” Create and manage product offers and promo codes for creators, plus the email template used when an offer is dispatched. See Briefs, offers, and product fulfillment.

  • Product Catalogs β€” Configure the product catalog creators choose from, including shipping settings and order request workflow. See Briefs, offers, and product fulfillment.

  • Budget β€” Connect a budget account to the Campaign and track spend against it.

  • Invite Email β€” Configure the email template used when you invite creators directly (Discovery, Member Hub, CSV).

Each of these tabs has its own Save changes button and its own unsaved-changes guard.

Permissions and roles

A handful of role-based settings control who can do what inside a Campaign:

  • Campaign Owner β€” The teammate accountable for the Campaign overall. Set in Setup β†’ Additional Settings. Receives default notifications and is the auto-assigned Owner (Creator) on any new member added to the Campaign.

  • Content Reviewers β€” Teammates who can approve creator content. Configured when Group Content Review is enabled (also in Setup β†’ Additional Settings).

  • Member-level access β€” Controls which teammates can see and act on individual members. Inherits from your brand-wide permissions.

  • Creator Portal preview β€” The Workflow tab's Hidden from Creators badges show which stages creators do not see. Use the portal preview to confirm exactly what your creators will see.

Settings access itself is restricted to teammates with edit rights on the Campaign. View-only teammates can open Settings tabs but can't change anything.

Migrating from older projects

If your account had Projects before Campaigns shipped, those Projects were migrated automatically. They live alongside new Campaigns on the Homepage and use the same Settings UI β€” but a few behaviors differ depending on how the Project was originally created.

What stays the same

  • Your creators, briefs, offers, contracts, payments, and history.

  • Your saved templates and brand-level settings.

  • The Creator Portal β€” creators see no change.

What changes for migrated Projects

  • The Settings UI is now the unified Campaign Settings UI β€” the same tabs and layout you'd see on a brand-new Campaign.

  • Workflow type (Standard or Flexible) is locked to what was in effect when the first member was added to the Project. The Workflow tab shows it as read-only at the top, with a lock icon and a note: "This was set when the project was created and cannot be changed."

  • Migrated Projects V2 with Flexible workflow type continue to use the linear-flex tracking model. Only Campaigns created from this point use the new linear-tracking-plus-decoupled-actions engine.

  • The Objective field is empty for migrated Projects; you can set one retroactively from Setup if you want goal tracking on it.

  • For Projects migrated from the older (Standard) Aspire experience, per-stage creator portal visibility does not apply β€” the Hidden from Creators badge pattern is only meaningful for the new engine.

Reading the migration banner

A banner at the top of the Settings page on migrated Projects flags the origin. Use it to confirm which engine your Project is running on if you need to compare behavior with a new Campaign.

For more on how the underlying engines differ, see Workflow and stages.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I edit the Campaign's name, dates, or objectives after creation? All of those live in Settings β†’ Setup. Workflow stages are in Settings β†’ Workflow; everything else has its own tab.

Why don't I see the Briefs tab in my Campaign Settings? The Briefs tab only appears when your workflow has a Brief stage. Same pattern for Offers (needs an Offer or Sales Tracking stage), Product Catalogs (needs Product Fulfillment), and Budget (needs the budget feature enabled for your account).

Can I delete a Campaign from Settings? Yes β€” the Delete Campaign action lives in Setup β†’ Additional Settings. Deletion is permanent. To stop a Campaign without losing data, use Archive from the Campaign's row on the Homepage or from Setup β†’ Additional Settings instead.

How do I change who owns the Campaign? Setup β†’ Additional Settings β†’ Campaign Owner is a dropdown of teammates. Pick a new one and save.

My migrated Project shows a workflow type I can't change. Why? Workflow type was set when the first member was added and is permanently locked. This is intentional β€” changing it mid-Campaign would break how counts and creator access behave for in-flight members. See Workflow and stages.

Can I un-archive a Campaign? Yes. Open the Archived tab on the Homepage, open the Campaign, and use the un-archive action in Settings β†’ Setup β†’ Additional Settings.
