This feature is currently in beta. If you encounter an issues or have feedback, please contact us at [email protected].

Aspire's Social Summary gives you a fast, clear view of your key performance results so you can make data-driven decisions with confidence. It consolidates your social dashboards into a single, unified dashboard, replacing the previous experience.

You'll also notice that social stats across other parts of our platform, such as the Impact Dashboard and Project Overview, are now powered by this enhanced data!

👀 Watch the video below for a quick demo!

Where to Find

The Social Summary can be accessed by selecting Reporting -> Social Summary

Key Metrics at a Glance

The following metrics are available on the Social Summary to help you monitor performance at a glance:

  • Posts: Total active posts filtered by the dates, projects, and groups selected. An active post is defined as a post that received an impression or interaction within the selected date range.

  • Members: Total active members filtered by the dates, projects, and groups selected. An active member is defined as a member whose post received an impression or interaction within the selected date range.

  • Impressions: Total views of posts and videos across all networks.

  • Engagement: Total likes, comments, saves, and shares for any available post type.

  • Reach: Total number of unique users who viewed at least one post.

  • Total Media Value (TMV): Total Media Value (TMV) represents the estimated monetary value of content performance, calculated based on engagement, reach, and impressions across all selected posts. This value is filtered by the selected dates, projects, and groups.

  • Secondary Metrics: This includes Saves, Likes, Comments, Shares, Engagement Rate, and Impression Rate

Interact with Charts

  1. Follower Growth: Hover over the graph to view follower count at different dates to understand growth trends

  2. EMV by Post Type: Hover over sections of the chart to view your EMV across social platforms

  3. Content Over Time: Choose from the dropdown option that automatically picks day/week/month based on the selected date range. Hover over the graph to view how much content was posted per network on a weekly or monthly basis.

  4. Member Distribution: Distribution of creators categorized by follower count at the time of posting. For creators with multiple posts, the maximum follower count across all their platforms is used. Choose between number of members, content count, impression value, engagement value, or EMV.

  5. Key Metrics Trends: View growth in reach, impressions, and engagement over time. Choose a metric to view, then narrow it by scope (all, by network, or by creator tier) and, if you want, compare it against the same period last year.

  6. Content by Post Type: Hover on each post type to view metrics as configured based on post count, Impressions, Engagements, or EMV.

  7. Breakdown by Network: View shares of the selected metric ( Impressions, Engagements, Reach, or EMV) per network

    1. On the right side is a Table View that further breaks down by social networks and includes metrics such as Number of Members, Active Posts, Posts Created, Impressions, Engagement, Engagement Rate, Reach, Likes, Comments, Shares, Saves, and TMV.

In the Post and Member Breakdown sections, you can:

  • Add or remove columns based on your reporting needs

Global Filters & Default Views

By default, the Social Summary displays data for the Last Six Months, using Post Date: Lifetime Date as the Date Filter method, filtering for Active Projects, including Estimated Data, and showing Organic metrics.

You can customize your view using the following filter options:

Date Filters

  • Predefined Time Ranges: This Week, Last Week, Last Month, Month to Date, Last Quarter, Quarter to Date, Last 6 Months, Year to Date, or All Time.

  • Custom Date Range: Select a custom start and end date to define your own time period.

Date Filter Method:

  • Insight Date: View impressions and engagements that happened during the selected date range, regardless of when the posts were originally published.

  • Post Date: Current Period: View impressions and engagements for posts that were published during the selected date range, showing only the activity that occurred within that same time period.

  • Post Date: Lifetime Data: View all-time impressions and engagements for posts that were published during the selected date range, including activity from their publish date through today.

Other Filters

  • Projects

  • Groups

  • Networks

  • Post Types

  • Creator Tiers

  • Mention Source

  • Members

  • Relationship Owner

🚀 Pro tip: After selecting your preferred filters (e.g., date range, filter method, or project), select Save View at the top right, and access the view from the Saved View dropdown. This allows you to quickly return to the same filters, columns, and sorting without setting everything up again.

Comparing Data in Social Dashboard

To get a better view of your performance trends and see how your campaigns are improving over time, you can compare your social metrics from the current selected range versus the previous period.

In your Social Summary, turn on the toggle to Compare vs previous period in the upper right corner.
