Aspire gives you six ways to find new people to work with and grow your creator community—all in one place.
From within a campaign, go to the Find Creators tab to access all six sourcing options:
Application Page — Create a branded page where creators can learn about your campaign and apply.
Marketplace — Publish your campaign to Aspire’s Creator Marketplace to attract inbound applications from creators.
Discover Creators — Search Aspire’s creator database to find and invite creators who match your campaign needs.
Mentions — Find people who have mentioned your brand on Instagram and TikTok.
Customers — Discover potential partners from your Shopify customer base.
Chrome Extension — Source creators directly while browsing Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest.
Each sourcing method helps you build your creator pipeline in a different way. Use one or combine several to find the right people for your program.
Learn more about each sourcing method below.
1. Application Page
Create a custom, branded Application Page where creators can learn more about your brand and campaign and apply to work with you.
Your Application Page is a great option for attracting inbound applicants. You can share the page anywhere you want to promote your program, including your social channels, newsletters, website, or other marketing channels.
Creators who apply through your Application Page will appear in the Applicants tab within your campaign
.
Best for: Attracting creators who are interested in working with your brand.
For more information, see How to Create an Application Page.
2. Aspire's Marketplace
Publish your campaign on Aspire’s Creator Marketplace to make it discoverable to creators who are actively looking for brand partnership opportunities.
Creators can find your campaign and submit proposals, giving you a source of inbound applications from creators who are interested in your campaign.
Best for: Reaching new creators and generating inbound applications.
For more information, see How to Publish your Campaign on Aspire's Marketplace.
3. Creator Discovery
Use Creator Discovery to proactively search Aspire’s database of millions of creators.
Search for creators based on criteria such as content, audience, location, follower count, engagement, and more. Once you find creators who match your needs, you can invite them to apply to your campaign.
Best for: Finding specific types of creators and proactively building your creator pipeline.
For more information, see How to Use Creator Discovery.
4. Mentions
The Mentions tab within the Recruit Hub helps you find people who are already talking about your brand on Instagram and TikTok.
Connect your brand’s Instagram and TikTok accounts to Aspire to discover people who have mentioned your brand on social media.
These people have already demonstrated an interest in your brand, making Mentions a great place to find potential creators, ambassadors, and advocates.
Best for: Turning existing brand fans and advocates into creator partners.
For more information, see Mention Listening Overview.
5. Customers
The Customers tab within the Recruit Hub lets you use your Shopify customer data to discover potential creator partners.
Connect your Shopify store to Aspire to import your customer data and identify customers who may be a good fit for your creator or ambassador program.
Because these customers have already purchased from your brand, they can be a valuable source of authentic and engaged partners.
Best for: Finding loyal customers who could become authentic brand advocates.
For more information, see Shopify Customer Integration Overview.
6. Chrome Extension
The Chrome Extension lets you source creators directly while browsing Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest.
When you find a creator you’re interested in, you can use the extension to:
Invite them to a campaign
Add them to a group
Copy your Application Page link to share with them
The Chrome Extension is especially useful when you discover creators organically while browsing social media.
Best for: Quickly sourcing creators you discover outside of Aspire.
To get started, download and install the Aspire Chrome Extension. For more information, see Aspire Chrome Extension.
Which Sourcing Method Should I Use?
There’s no single right way to source creators. The best approach depends on whether you want creators to come to you or whether you want to proactively find them.
If you want to... | Try... |
Attract creators who are interested in your brand | Application Page |
Get inbound proposals from creators | Marketplace |
Proactively search for specific creators | Creator Discovery |
Find people already talking about your brand | Mentions |
Turn loyal customers into creator partners | Customers |
Source creators while browsing social media | Chrome Extension |
Pro Tip: Combine Sourcing Methods
You don’t have to rely on just one sourcing method. Combining multiple approaches can help you build a diverse and consistent creator pipeline.
For example, you might use Creator Discovery to proactively find creators who meet your campaign criteria, Mentions to identify existing brand advocates, and Customers to find loyal customers with an established social presence.
You can also promote your Application Page through your social channels and newsletters to continuously attract new applicants.
Using multiple sourcing methods gives you more opportunities to discover creators who are a great fit for your brand and your campaigns.
