Social posts are pulled into your Social Analytics dashboard in a few different ways.
Instagram Mention Listening
Once you connect your brand's Instagram account to Aspire, we will begin tracking the following types of mentions made by creators:
Tag Mentions – when your brand is tagged in the post
Caption Mentions – when your brand’s handle is mentioned in the caption
Story Mentions – when your brand's handle is mentioned in a Story (note: sticker mentions are not supported)
For these mentions to appear in Social Analytics, one of the following conditions must be met:
The mention was created by a member that was not sourced through mention listening or the Shopify customer data integration
The mention was created by a member that was sourced through mention listening and belongs to a project or group
For more information on Instagram mention listening, see this article.
TikTok Mention Listening and Branded Content
Once you connect your brand's TikTok account to Aspire, we will begin pulling in posts where your brand’s TikTok handle is mentioned in the video caption. We will also capture any Branded Content posts that were created using the campaign invite link generated when sending briefs through Aspire.
TikTok posts will automatically appear in Social Analytics in 2 ways:
The creator posted Branded Content on TikTok using the campaign invite link found in their brief
The creator @ mentions your brand's handle in a TikTok post caption and one of the following conditions is met:
The mention was created by a member that was not sourced through mention listening or the Shopify customer data integration
The mention was created by a member that was sourced through mention listening and belongs to a project or group
For more information on TikTok mention listening, see this article.
Submitted via Briefs or Manual Upload
Content created on YouTube and Pinterest, as well as any other content that wasn't pulled in via mention listening, will appear in Social Analytics when the live post link is either:
Submitted through the creator's Brief, or
Manually uploaded through Member Actions > Social Posts on the creator’s member profile
Post Assignment
Our system uses the following logic to auto-assign member's social posts to projects and groups:
If a creator is part of only one project and/or group, their posts will be automatically assigned to that project and/or group.
If a creator is part of multiple projects or groups, you can manually assign their post(s) to the correct project or group using the Assign Posts tab in Social Analytics. See this article for more details.
