Overview
You can manually reject conversions within your Sales Tracking dashboard until the associated commission has been paid.
There are several reasons why a conversion might be rejected. Most commonly, this happens when an order is refunded and members are not eligible to receive a commission on refunded sales. In other cases, conversions may need to be rejected due to fraudulent activity or because a member’s code was shared on third-party coupon sites.
💡 Tip: Before rejecting a conversion, we recommend informing the member and explaining the reason. To prevent misunderstandings, outline scenarios where conversions may be rejected in your agreement with members.

How to Reject Conversions
Go to Reporting > Sales Tracking.
Click on an offer.
Click View Stats next to the member whose conversion(s) you want to reject.
Check the box next to the conversion(s) you want to reject. Then, click the ellipsis icon (…) and select Reject Conversion.
Confirm by clicking Reject.
Once rejected, the conversion status will immediately update to “Rejected.” The conversion and its associated sale amount will be excluded from the offer's stats and aggregate totals in other reports. If applicable, the commission will also be removed from the member’s commission earnings and reflected in their affiliate performance dashboard.
Rejected conversions will remain visible in the member's Conversion History and the Offer Conversions Report for future reference.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I accept a conversion that was previously rejected?
Yes, you can. To accept a conversion that was manually rejected, select the conversion, click the ellipsis icon (…), then select "Accept Conversion". The conversion status will update to “Accepted.”
Can members see each conversion and its status in their Affiliate Performance Dashboard?
At this time, members cannot view individual conversions or their statuses in their dashboard. Instead, they see aggregate performance metrics such as total conversions, total sales generated, and total commission earned.
Rejected conversions will impact these aggregate totals. For transparency, we recommend informing members of rejected conversions directly and providing the reasons behind the rejections.
Can I reject a conversion after the commission has been paid?
No, you cannot reject a conversion once the commission has been paid. Rejections are only possible if the commission associated with the conversion has not yet been paid out to the member.
